We are looking for a Logistics Manager who will head a large team responsible for the movement, cranage and storage of all construction materials on the building of a new, 2 mill sq ft distribution centre near Stockton.With a build value of £140m, this is the largest of four similar schemes to be let to the company, a leading, national Design & Build contractor with an annual turnover approaching £3bill.Having built several of these facilities for the same client previously, relationships are good and the greater part of the team is existing so the successful candidate will be employed within a close-knit unit, possessing extensive previous project experience. Never the less, expectations and demands will be high so applicants must be able to display the ability to confidently marshal operations on large area sites requiring the extensive construction of infrastructure and car parking on the behalf of Tier One Main Contractors.With production due to start in March, interviews are scheduled to take place in early February and salary is competitive, around £75k + package
