Main Responsibilities: Support all European Manufacturing Plants to optimize their PLOH spend (OPEX) by identifying the best trade-off between Safety, Service, Quality and Savings through key procurement initiatives with a specific focus on supply base streamlining and spend harmonizationSupport all European Manufacturing Plants to streamline their Capital budget spend (CAPEX) by driving substantial growth and profitability with zero quality / safety issues and by ensuring the maximum compliance / adherence to ECL terms & conditionsCustomized procurement strategy for manufacturing plants, mixing Pan-European framework agreements in collaboration with Central Functions (Engineering, SHE, Quality) with ad-hoc requests (local contracts).# Plants: 25; Total Yearly spend: 70 M$Main sub-categories: Maintenance services, PPE, Waste disposal, Uniforms, MRO, Lab supplies, Utilities, ForkliftsActs as business owner for his/her categories, autonomously defining and executing sourcing strategies. Goals: improve reliability, get competitive pricing, seek for technical and commercial opportunities, reduce complexity, shorten lead times and much more.Applies, as sourcing methodology, the Total Delivered Cost (TDC) process and tools, from definition to implementation, to build and reinforce a best in class supply that meets the company goals.Keeps a global mindset, benchmarking regional strategies within the global sourcing team; leverages the Ecolab global scale to add value and maximize benefits.Leads saving projects or other initiatives to achieve team targets. Collaborates across RD&E, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing and Sales to ensure action plans and project milestones are met.Develops business continuity plans and risk assessments. Investigates, develops and drives actions to remedy supply disruptions and constraints. Effectively communicates updates to internal stakeholders.Builds and maintains expert knowledge of respective categories, competition and innovations.
