Qualifications Master's degree in business, engineering or economics with a very good academic record Relevant internships or a maximum of 2 years work experience in the Electric Power and Natural Gas sectors Knowledge of and/or high interest in electric power and natural gas industries ideally with a focus on countries in Latin America; in addition specific expertise in transmission and distribution and/or digital Strong problem-solving skills and conceptual abilities with an analytical mindset Excellent business acumen and understanding of the main business, economic and financial concepts and terminology Abilities in collection, analysis and synthesis of information and knowledge Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish. Knowledge of Portuguese, Italian or other languages is valued Strong multitasking abilities, service-oriented personality, intellectual curiosity and an investigative mind Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively Who You'll Work WithYou will work from our Madrid office and be part of our global Electric Power and Natural GasPractice which advises top management of leading energy provider companies worldwide.You will be part of our global Client Capabilities Network, which includes more than 2,600colleagues, who bring a wide spectrum of knowledge, insights and further distinct capabilities toour clients. You will work as a core part of this group to help develop, codify, sanitize, andmanage our global knowledge with dedicated focus on the electricity and mid- and downstream gasmarkets especially in Latin America but also across Europe and other regions as part of a globalteam.What You'll DoYou will leverage a solid understanding of business trends, issues, and concepts to efficientlyrespond to complex research questions by delivering synthesized, actionable facts and insights toour consulting teams and clients.In this role you will work alongside senior knowledge professionals on larger client projects andinternal knowledge initiatives. By collecting and analyzing data and information found in databasesand/or other primary and secondary research tools, you will assemble a fact base and counselconsultants and clients on the scope of business, economic and technical trends around theelectricity sector with a focus on transmission, distribution and digitalisation. Your geographicalfocus will be on countries in Latin America and Iberia. You will also provide insights and analysisfor solving client problems at hand. You will work towards enhancing the Practice's currentawareness of developments in the energy sector and acting increasingly as a thought partner in(client) team discussions.Your day-to-day tasks will include identifying the key issues being studied and determining themost appropriate solution while effectively balancing quality, availability, timeliness, and costfactors. You'll perform a variety of analyses such as benchmarking, trend identification, industryprofiling, market sizing, growth projections, opportunity scanning, etc., in order to add value toproblem-solving discussions.You'll provide synthesis, insight and client implications within tight deadlines via end productsin the form of PowerPoint charts, written memos, models and frameworks.
